Notes on Carbon Capacity:

Total carbon capacity includes water that is going to drain, as with RO filters.

It’s important to consider the system ratio when calculating the carbon filter change schedule. 

The GX1000-HF has a carbon capacity of 16,000 gallons — which means, at a 1:1 ratio, total RO production supported by a single carbon filter would be 8,000 gallons. 

The GX200-HF has a carbon capacity of 8,000 gallons — which means, at a 2:1 ratio, total RO production supported by a single carbon filter would be 2,666 gallons.
